About Artist Kristen Vetterl
 Kristen Vetterl was born in 1984 and is a native of Manasquan, New Jersey. At a young age she showed an artistic talent and an obsession for horses. She attended the University of Rhode Island where she studied painting and printmaking under expressive artists like William Klenk, Barbara Pagh, and Bob Dilworth. Upon receiving her BFA in 2007, she was inspired by her two passions, riding horses and painting them. Today she spends most her time in Newport, Rhode Island working as a graphic designer and professional artist specializing in equestrian artwork. Read more here.
